A drawing I threw together for my senior project. This is an illustration of the Manciple's Tale from Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales". This story tells the legend of how the crow lost his white feathers.
Drawn in pencil, inked with Micron pens and colored with Prismacolor markers. Some of the crows I freehand copied from pics on google, because frankly, I'm terrible at drawing animals, especially realistic ones. There will be no prints of this pic, mostly because I don't really submit anything to Devart anymore and I'm super lazy.
Ah, also, if you're wondering about the text in the moon, it's an except from the tale. And if you're wondering why the words don't make sense it's because it's in Middle English. If you think that's bad, you should see what Old English looks like. I'm just glad that I passed.
